We all wish to be able to make the right decisions and choices and live the best way we can. This desire often comes with self-criticism that discourages us from achieving what we want.
It is important to push forward and stop being critical of yourself when things don't go as expected.
Here are three signs you are an overly critical person.
1. You always second-guess yourself
Most times you tend to ask yourself if what you have done or said was the right thing. You try to analyse the effect of what you have said to those around you and also to yourself. This makes you think you are more of a failure and negatively affects your self-confidence.
2. Nothing is good enough for you
You always expect the best from those around you and you get offended when you fail to achieve this. You never appreciate good things people do for you and expect your loved ones to always make sacrifices for you. It is important to appreciate what you have and know that people don't always get what they want.
3. You hate compliments
When someone compliments you, you take it as a horrible thing either because you aren't interested in listening to them or you lack enough self-confidence to accept the compliment.
