Former Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of Public Service Dr Sally Kosgei has recounted how she was sacked from the position under unclear circumstances.
In an interview with Daily Nation, Kosgei said that she was accused of many things before she was fired from office including corruption, which compares to humiliation of the highest order.
She notes she was not aware that Former President Mwai Kibaki fired her without informing her. She said that she got surprised when Former Ambassador Francis Muthaura replaced her in office.
She also said that she was working past the normal working hours when she was informed that she was no longer the holder of office.
“I was still working past the normal working hours. I had spent the past one month assisting the newly elected Narc coalition to set up government,” she recounted.
She also said that she was branded corrupted and arrested before taken to the Kibera law Courts where she was arraigned.
“I was accused of so many things and branded corrupt. I was harassed and even taken to the Kibera Law Courts, “she said.
She also said that she was never knew Former President Daniel Arap Moi before she was introduced into government. She also said that she was still a student when Moi took over power.
