A 22-year-old man was busted chewing his neighbour’s daughter in an abandoned house.
The incident happened on Friday evening at Nyamataro village, Kitutu Chache South in Kisii County.
Frank Machoni lured the 17-year-old girl, into one of the abandoned houses in the village after buying her chips.
“Machoni completed his form 4 last year and since then he has been chasing after young girls in the village. I saw him and the girl entering the house which is not occupied and suspected that something fishy was going on. I waited for them to come out but they didn't,” said Augustine Okako, a witness.
Okako said he alerted residents who raided the house where they found the two having sex.
“We arrested the two and forced them to walk naked. Upon questioning the Form 2 student, she revealed that Frank bought her chips before he lured her into sex in the unoccupied house,” said Okako.
The mother of the girl said Frank came to get her pretending that he was going to give her storybook only to end up having sex with her.
Area assistant chief Peter Onderi said the two were given several strokes of the cane before being released.
“Frank and the girl were caned and I warned them against seeing each other. Illicit sex is prohibited and whoever will be caught engaging in the act will not be spared,” said Onderi.
He called on parents to stop allowing their daughters to go out with men who may end up convincing them into engaging in illicit sex.
