1. Cool down
Your body uses a lot of energy during exercises. It is always advisable that you allow your body to cool down before you leave. This will help avoid blood from pooling in your veins. Cooling down helps your body regain the energy you will use for walking. More so, it helps the body to retain its normal temperatures.
2. Stretch
Stretching should be done immediately after a workout. This is mostly recommended for bodybuilders to help relax their body muscles. When stretching, make sure you feel some pain. This will mean the stretches are helping you to relax your muscles. Stretching is basically done to release tensed muscles after a heavy work out.
3. Rehydrate
When working out, you lose a lot of water through sweating. To regain this water, it is advisable that you take in water immediately after working out. More so, the water will help your body to cool down fast. Water also helps lubricate your joints.
