Two foreigners were on Thursday arraigned before a Shanzu Court to answer to charges of undressing a Kenyan woman and taking nude photos and videos of her.
A German national, Zerbin Sascha Marius Waldemar, and Wectabe Shestavetskyi, a Ukrainian, were being accused of allegedly stripping the complainant on January 17, 2019.
Principal Magistrate David Odhiambo heard that the two suspects had allegedly arranged a blind date with the woman at Kenya Medical Association Apartments in Mtwapa, Kilifi County.
The woman, in the court documents, claimed that she met Marius through an online dating site this year where they exchanged contact information and chatted before planning their meeting.
The woman in her report to the police said the two agreed to meet on the material date and they met at the apartment where the man lived.
The two spent the day at the swimming pool before proceeding to the apartment to have a meal with the two accused persons.
After finishing the meal, she wanted to leave but the two men stopped her and demanded that she sleeps with them after eating their food.
“When I wanted to leave, the two told me I couldn't leave just like that when you have eaten our food and drinks,” she said as quoted by Nation.
The two men forcefully undressed her and took videos and photos of her while naked as she tried to fight them.
Some of the videos obtained from the two men's phones showed explicit footage of different naked women.
The two, however, denied the charges before the court and Magistrate Odhiambo released them on a Sh100,000 bond.
The two accused were ordered to surrender their passports to the police pending the next case hearing.
