Naivasha-based businessman James Karimi has called on communities living in Likia, Njoro to embrace peace in order to foster development.Speaking at Likia on Wednesday when he organized a peace and reconciliation prayer meeting, the former TNA party politician said the livestock robbery incidents that have been witnessed in the area are a threat to peace and development.While lauding the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Karimi called on all communities to emulate the same.He added that a few youths engaging in cattle rustling should not affect the peace that has been witnessed in the area for long and called on security agents to look into the matter.On Jubilee politics, the former TNA chairman Nakuru branch said he is optimistic in the coalition's Big 4 Agenda and the 2022 plans.Area MP Charity Kathambi who also attended the meeting commended Karimi for being a peace ambassador.“I rebuke those who are preaching hatred in this area. The enemies of peace are also enemies of development and the Jubilee government,”she said.
