Last year, controversial prophet David Owuor allegedly presided over her resurrection of one, Mama Rosa, hitting the headlines in both mainstream and social media.
Many people raised concerns, doubting the possibility of such a miracle which is likened to Biblical stories.
The news attracted the attention of many Kenyans with some being forced to troop to the remote village in West Pokot to witness the rare incident.
Prophet Owour alleged that he prayed for Mama Rosa’s lifeless body after she died on the night of June 22, 2018. The church celebrated their leader saying that indeed through his intervention, she came back to life.
Mama Rosa was diagnosed with arthritis and has been battling the disease for about 23 years, the situation became dare after she was advised by prophet Awour to stop taking drugs and seeking any medication because the Lord was going to heal her.
According to Kenyan Daily Post, the resurrection miracle was not genuine but was staged managed by the 'Mighty prophet of God' to lure more desperate and unsuspecting Kenyans into his church for miracles.
Mama Rosa appeared severally in Awour's crusaders giving testimonies of how the 'prophet of God' had saved her from death.
She was buried on Saturday, January 26th 2019.
