Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has hailed President Uhuru Kenyatta as a transformative leader who learns from the past and ready to fix predicaments facing the country.
In a candid speech on Friday at a funeral to MP Joash Nyamoko's brother, Bosire likened Uhuru's transformation to Biblical Paul who changed from Soul.
"This boy to Kenyatta has really changed. He used to be naive in leadership that's why he faced resistance throughout his first term in office. He has now shown good signs of a good leader."
Further, he said:"At first, he was Soul given his economic strangulation of this nation. He has really changed to Paul and that is something we cannot take for granted. Let us all support him for the sake of development."
The ODM treasurer challenged Uhuru to sack incompetent officials in his government, noting that some are not ready to abandon their old habits of stealing public resources.
He also blamed Governor John Nyagarama for sluggish development in the county, adding that time had come for him to reevaluate his leadership approach by embracing divergent views.
"You cannot be smart in every aspect. Money could be coming to grassroots but your boys could be swindling without your knowledge. It's paramount that you note that," he added.
