The latest trip will however see Uhuru addressing Transform Africa Summit before jetting back to Nairobi on Thursday. The president had kept a low profile after his trip to China last month but only to resurface on Monday.

In March, Uhuru toured the East African country purposely to solve severe relationship between Uganda and Rwanda. He first held talks with President Paul Kagame before meeting Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.

The two nations were engaged in repraisals and Kigali had reportedly closed all entry points after accusing Museveni of backing rebels in Rwanda.

"The relationship between our two countries is probably the best," the president said. "The more we meet, the more we interact, the better we integrate as a people," he added.

Mr Kagame is a close friend of Uhuru and when the two met, he drove the Kenyan president to Gabiro State House. He hailed Uhuru as a 'true brother'.

"You know you can have a brother who is not your friend. In President Kenyatta, I have a brother who is also a friend," the Rwandan leader said.

For three weeks, Kenyans on social media questioned about the whereabouts of Uhuru, who rarely takes leave from public glare. Before resurfacing on Monday, State House insisted that he was on going with his presidential duties.
