Former Economic Planning minister Henry Obwocha appeared weak and frail 8 hours to his death, an exclusive video of him as revealed.
The former West Mugirango MP is seen struggling to address mourners at Igena-itambe, few meters from his house.
At times, his speech sounded inaudible as audience struggled to get his point.
After the short speech in his aunt's funeral, Obwocha is supported by unidentified man until he resumes his seat.
Family members say he felt unwell during the funeral and asked to be driven to his Nairobi home.
When he arrived at Nairobi, he asked for a drink and porridge was served. Minutes later, his health deteriorated on Friday and subsequently died at Nairobi Hospital.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP William Ruto and Chief Justice David Maraga are among prominent leaders who have sent condolences.
Mr. Obwocha served in parliament for three uninterrupted terms since 2002 before losing to ODM's James Gesami.
Until his death, he was chairman Privatisation Commission, a post he was appointed in 2015.
