Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has yet again slammed DP William Ruto, accusing him of defrauding poor Kenyans millions of money in graft related deals.
Dr Ruto has often dismissed graft allegations against him, claiming it's part of media narrative to potray him as a priest of corruption for political gains.
In a phone interview on Tuesday, the ODM treasurer wondered why Dr Ruto was pushing for construction of controversial Sh5 billion Bonyunyu Dam without following due process.
"DP Ruto is a priest of corruption. Nothing will change that, not even contributing to churches. Infact, he's a candidate to hell. He cannot continue lying to people over obvious things," argued Bosire.
He added: "He has been pushing for construction of Bonyunyu Dam yet he knows well that feasibility study has not been done. What kind of a leader is that? He knows well no public participation has been done. This is another clever way of looking for loopholes to steal."
Mr Bosire also demanded that Ruto comes out clean on allegations that he diverted Sh30 billion meant for construction of Magwagwa Multipurpose dam in Nyamira to Kimwarer and Arror dams in Elgeyo-Marakwet County.
"The Lake Region Development Authority has confirmed that the money was meant for Nyamira. He basically diverted it for his own gains. He is not going to heaven," added Bosire.
On Monday, LRDA chief executive Raymond Omollo confirmed that the money was meant for Magwagwa Multipurpose dam. DCI George Kinoti is investigating circumstances under which the money was lost.
