Exiled opposition activist, Miguna Miguna now claims that three of the four Kenyan presidents since independence have been lacking leadership qualities.
In a tweet on Friday, the troubled lawyer claimed that the leaders, including Uhuru Kenyatta, were deliberately handpicked to further drive the nation astray.
He claimed that it began with founding father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, before landing on Daniel Moi, with Uhuru being the latest beneficiary of the culture.
He said that this calls for a revolution that will salvage the country from the negative tradition, saying that the country needs a leader with vision and plans.
"Jomo Kenyatta was not hand-picked as PM because he had vision or plans for Kenya. Moi was specifically picked by Kenyatta because he was dumb and malleable. Moi picked Uhuru because he was a drunkard and thumb-sucking drug addict. Let's ferment a revolution and transform Kenya," he wrote.
He excluded immediate former President from the list, terming him the only properly elected president in 2002, before being allegedly rigged in in 2007 by the likes of Uhuru.
When asked by a tweep why he did not include Kibaki in the list, he said its because he was supremely qualified at the time of his election and was, therefore, not handpicked.
"Because Kibaki was supremely qualified and was popularly and credibly elected in 2002. Kibaki stole elections in 2007 with the help of despot Uhuru, Martha Karua and others. Understood?" he stated.
