Salt is mainly used in the kitchen to cook meals. It adds taste to the meals because without it, then your meal is nothing. Some people misuse salt by eating a lot of it or adding it to their meals.

Swelling of the ankles is caused by pregnancy, sitting for so long and intake of some medicine. Another cause of swelling ankles is too much intake of salt. If at all you are are not pregnant, under the medication and have not sat for so long and you realize your ankles are swollen, the problem could be you are consuming too much salt.
