Embakasi North MP James Mwangi Gakuya has been arrested.

Gakuya was arrested on Wednesday by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives.

In a tweet, the EACC said that the Jubilee MP will be arraigned in court on Thursday to answer to corruption charges.

The commission did not give out the specific charges the MP will face in court but sources claim that charges are relating to the management of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
