Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i has accepted Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria’s apology for engaging police officers in a fight last month.
Speaking in Nakuru on Wednesday, Matiang’i urged the MP to stick to his promise of observing the law.

The CS urged Gikaria to work closely with the police officers to ensure service is improved is his area and the residents are well protected.
“Your apology is accepted and it is our hope you stick to your newfound self. It is time for you to sit with the county security team and help in strategizing how security in the area can be improved,” Matiang'i said.
