Police officers have launched a manhunt for a man who abducted his neighbour's 5-year-old daughter from their Isoge village home in Borabu.
County Commissioner Isaiah Nakoru said the suspect identified as Onditi abducted the young girl while she was playing with other kids at the roadside few meters from their home.
"Onditi was spotted giving the girl biscuits the day she went missing. The suspect has not been seen at his home since Monday.
"We suspect he has been colluding with some people to engage in child trafficking," he said.
He members of the public to inform police immediately they will spot the man so that the girl young girl can be found.
"Members of the public should volunteer information to any nearest police station immediately they will spot the suspect."
Francis Motandege, the family spokesperson said the family has been having sleepless night since Monday when the girl went missing.
"We have searched her everywhere but, we haven't found her. Anyone with information can report to authorities," he said.
