Speaking to the press in Eldoret town on Sunday, Tiren lamented that corruption has been the order of the day in Uhuru's government noting that it was the time he walked the talk.

“Mr President we are fully behind you in the fight against corruption, don’t be worried or threatened by anybody. Take action because it is your work as the president of this country,” said the MP.

The second-term legislator further pointed out that should the president be serious, graft fight is the only legacy that he will be remembered for.

“The constitution protects you and you have to protect the constitution. We are fully behind you because farmers and Kenyans at large have suffered because of corruption. Kenyans are tired of this vice,” insisted Tiren who despite being elected on Jubilee ticket, he has been hitting out at Deputy President William Ruto on several issues.

He also challenged the head of state to sack all public servants that have been implicated in graft regardless of their political or tribal affiliation.

Graft fight had taken a political turn after politicians allied to DP Ruto claimed it was being used to fight a certain community so as to settle political scores ahead of 2022 general elections.
