There was drama after two men were caught pants down making out with a disabled woman in a bush on Thursday evening at Kebiro village in Magombo, Nyamira County.
The two men, Erick Sesa and Protus Manwaye were pounced on by villagers while on the act with the deaf woman identified as Eveline Bosibori.
“I had gone to the bush for a short call. I didn’t believe my eyes when I found Sesa and Manwaye chewing Bosibori who is a disabled woman,” said Justus Nyaringo, one of the villagers who witnessed the incident.
Nyaringo said he immediately alerted passersby on what was happening. But Sesa and Manwaye managed to escape leaving the woman alone.
Area assistant chief, Geoffrey Nyananga confirmed the incident and condemned the men for taking advantage of the disabled woman to harass her sexually.
“I am yet to understand how the men convinced Bosibori who doesn’t speak or hear to accompany them into a bush where they were caught having sex with her. The suspects escaped but, we are tracing them so that they can be arrested,” he noted.
The chief called on residents to stop abusing disabled people in the village.
He encouraged people to take good care of people living with disability and not mistreating, mishandling them in the society.
