He said Mutua is willing to transform the county through development.

"Mutua is ready and very much willing to transform Machakos, infrastructure is number one agenda," Maliti said.

Maliti spoke at Masinga in Machakos County on Sunday.

He inspected some of the roads being constructed by the Machakos County Government in various wards within the sub-county.

Maliti said no amount of politics and witchhunt will stop Mutua and himself from delivering their 2017 campaign Manifesto for the best interest of common 'mwananchi'.

"There are some people who want to push Mutua and me out of the government. I want to tell them that we have already won and we are not turning back. We will give our people the best, from dams, roads, schools, and bridges," Maliti said.

He addressed the locals in Kikesa and Kilaatushopping centers.

Maliti inspected Kikesa-Kamuthambya-Nguumon and Kilaatu-Ngangani roads.

"It touches my heart to hear from the 'wananchi' how these projects among others in different parts of the county have impacted their lives," he added.
