The top female performer in the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination Barasa Njeri has revealed that she would like to join Havard University.

Speaking on Wednesday night during an interview on Citizen TV's JKL show, Njeri who got plane A nonetheless added that she was open-minded.

Havard University is one of the most popular international universities.

"I have my prospects set on Havard University, but I am open for anything. I am just trying to keep my doors open. But Harvard, number one," she said.

The confident and eloquent girl from Kenya High School further revealed that she plans to be a doctor after her university studies, citing that that is where her passion lies.

"I said I want to be a doctor and I still want to be a doctor. It has always been a passion of mine. I really don't know since when but I have always known somewhere deep in my heart like I want to be a doctor," she added.

Njeri is looking forward to getting a scholarship that would enable her dreams to come true.

It appears the top female performer in the KCSE would like to spend her life outside the country as she went ahead to disclose that she would like to work and reside in Boston, USA someday.

Barasa Njeri was named as the second-best student and the best female student in the KCSE results that were released on Wednesday by the Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
