Diamond disappointed his fans when he failed to perform at a Morgan Heritage Foundation event dubbed ‘Tomorrow's Leaders Festival', that was held at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.

The event was organised by Morgan Heritage Foundation to raise funds, to support a leadership program in Africa and Jamaica.

When manager Sallam was reached for a comment on why Diamond failed to perform, he only said event organizers should be the one giving full details why the singer did not step on stage.

"My response is to talk to the organizers because they are responsible for us(Diamond and his team) to be here, thanks," said Sallam through a short message which was later shared on YouTube by Kiss.

Earlier, while speaking on behalf of Morgan Heritage family, Gramps Morgan had said Diamond could not step on stage due to his busy schedule and bad weather in the capital.

"The weather here is so funny, and Diamond has been on a very very busy tour, his voice went out," said Gramps Morgan.

Sallam could not reveal further details on whether Diamond had problems with his voice.

Diamond on the other hand has not said anything concerning the whole issue of failing to perform.
