Months after losing to Governor Mike Sonko, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth has made a high profile public appearance.
For months now, Kenneth has been a subject to social media criticism with lawyers Donald Korir and Nelson Havi questioning his whereabouts.
And on Tuesday, amid fuel crisis in the country, Kenneth paid courtesy to Raila at his Capitol Hill offices.
"The two leaders met and Kenneth stressed on the ongoing fuel crisis in the country. Through his management record, he offered to help the government on the matter.
"Raila on his part said the country must look for a better way of raising money without affecting directly the poor," read a statement from Dennis Onyango, Raila's spokesperson.
Mr. Kenneth also failed in 2013 presidential race after finishing fourth.
Last year, he blamed DP William Ruto for allegedly orchastrating his downfall in Jubilee primaries.
During the meeting, Raila also took Kenneth through Bulding Bridges Initiative that was launched jointly with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
