Governor John Nyagarama spent the better part of Wednesday moving across villages in Nyamira where he inspected ongoing construction of roads among other projects.
Last week, Governor Nyagarama warned ministers against sitting pretty in offices, arguing that time had come for them to ensure there is tangible work at the ground.
"You must leave your offices and inspect projects. I will be waiting for reports on progress of various projects for further action. Those not willing should be ready for exit," he said.
For the past two months, Mr Nyagarama has insisted that nobody will hinder his quest to leave behind a good legacy ahead of his exit.
At Magwagwa where he made several stop overs, the governor said he's ready to improve all roads for the sake of improving transport and business.
"I want to see good roads. We brought MTF on board and they are doing a good job. I am sure that in future, we shall have a situation where all roads are passable," he said.
The county boss was accompanied by Roads Minister John Omanwa and Magwagwa MCA Fred Nyachae. Ekerenyo MCA Thaddius Nyabaro was also present.
"All rogue contractors will have their working permits cancelled. We want serious work because infrastructure is a key component in development," said Omanwa.
