The two rivals are both working to ensure the well-being of the Uasin Gishu residents. However, the former gubernatorial aspirant Buzeki, who is also salivating for the seat come 2022, is focusing on the matters of agriculture and issues affecting farmers and the sector. On the other hand, Governor Mandago is focused on running the county and improving the infrastructure as he aims at leaving a legacy.

Even though Mandago is fighting to leave a legacy and Buzeki is preparing his way to the gubernatorial seat come 2022, the billionaire businessman seems to be outsmarting the governor because he is focusing on the matter affecting almost every resident in the county.

Buzeki is addressing the issues of subsidized fertilizers and low maize prices; something that even the national government has a problem addressing. He is aiming at shaping agriculture in the county by partnering with interested individual and institutions to ensure that the Uasin Gishu farmers get access to cheap fertilizers within the shortest time possible.

Additionally, the maize produced by farmers is sold at better prices.

Therefore, most of the Uasin Gishu residents are backing up Buzeki and branding themselves as 'Team Tai Ole Tai'. He has already touched the hearts of the farmers and proved his worth to be the next Uasin Gishu governor.
