In fact, the prolific Dancehall musician has performed in the country a number of times in well-attended concerts, a testament to the appeal of his music.

Apart from his feel-good music, not many Kenyans know that Konshens had a brother called Delus who committed suicide in 2016.

Delus was also a Dancehall musician and producer who released a number of singles such as 'High', 'What tomorrow may bring' and 'Another Gyal', his most-recognised single.

'Another Gyal' is well known by Kenyans as it was part of the songs on the high-grossing 'Pleasure Riddim' dropped in 2010 which enjoyed wide airplay in Kenya.

Delus is rumoured to have suffered from depression which led him to take away his life by shooting himself in the head and recording himself while at it.

He was just thirty-five years old when he died.
