Recently, there has been a debate in Kenya where artist have been complaining for Kenyan media and presenters to play more local content than those from outside.
Most fans and even media personality have come out claiming most Kenyan music lack content compared to outside songs.
Some claim Kenyan musicians focus on beats and rhyming lyrics rather than the message.
Some upcoming artists have been on the spotlight for producing songs with raunchy video and "dirty lyrics".
Since the group "ethic" broke into the Kenyan music industry, most other upcoming artists have decided to try their luck using the same trick.
Two artists, TheBoyBleezy and Madra, however, decided to take it to another level.
In their new video song titled "matako" which some scene appeared to have been shot just outside what looks like Sub-Chiefs office in Umoja 1 from the writings in the background. One would wonder how they could be allowed to shoot such kind of video in such a place.
The "video vixens" look to be in their late teens or early adult age and the dance as you can guess is a "dirty" one. "baby turn around let me see that "matakoo..." starts the lyrics of the song.
If indeed the video was shot in an administrative office then something needs to be done. This kind of songs and video contribute to what others view as lack of content in Kenyan music.
