The deputy county boss is facing a possible eviction from the house in Milimani Estate, with his landlord, United Millers, saying that he has not been paying rent for 14 months.

Owilli revealed the same while accompanying his boss, Governor Anyang Nyongo, for a meeting with ambassadors at the Royal Swiss Hotel on Wednesday night.

The DG who says that the county finance ministry should be handling the same demanded answers from the ministry head Nelly Achar, complaining of mistreatment.

He added that he was shocked upon learning from his landlord that he has been living on arrears, as he has been thinking that the ministry had been remitting the funds to the house owner.

He said that the landlord has since threatened not to renew his tenancy agreement in September should the rent not have been paid, as the county boss listened.

In his response, governor Nyongo who appeared dumbfounded directed the minister to attend to the matter and assure that it is properly handled, reports the People Daily.

His comes as just another of Achar's woes, considering that he has been earmarked for impeachment by the county assembly over claims of incompetence.
