Gor Mahia and Kenya U23 midfielder, Tobias Otieno has joined US Division one side, Union Omaha in an undisclosed transfer fees.
The former Sony Sugar midfield star was among 13 players signed by Omaha during its 2020 Union Omaha signing day.
In a tweet, Tobias said he is happy to join the US side, adding that he is eager to link up with the team.
"I felt very excited seeing this post. I would love to thank Union Omaha fraternity for the big step they've made in my signing. Big thanks and can't wait to join you guys for a great season," he posted.
In a tweet, Union Omaha confirmed signing the fast-rising midfield star.
"Meet Tobias! was one of the youngest starters in the Kenyan Premier League this season and is a member of the Kenya U23 national team; stay tuned for more," Union_Omaha
Tobias had penned a one year contract with Gor Mahia as his handlers worked on a possible move to US, and was considered a key player.
He began his career with Kisumu's Manyatta United in 2014, before moving to Sony Sugar in 2017.
He joins the growing list of players that have ditched Gor Mahia in the current transfer season.
