Maribe, who is expected to take plea on Monica Kimani murder on Monday, will undergo psychological assessment before that date to establish her mental health.

And reports by police officers corroborated those given by friends who visited her in the facility on Wednesday.

"She is in low spirits. She could not talk to anyone. Seems she's pretty affected by the development of the matter," said the officer.

Blogger Olivia Moraira alias Kabz Nyar Kisii said attempts to get Maribe's audience flopped since she was 'not in good moods'.

"We tried to reach to her but she couldn't see us. She was not in moods so we had to leave," she expressed her disappointment.

Ms. Maribe will face murder charges along with her fiance Joseph Irungu, who is remanded at Industrial Area prison.

Her father, Mwangi Maribe, insists that his daughter is 'guilty of love and not murder' as it's portrayed on media.
