More leaders from Gusii region have mourned the death of Samuel Ragira alias 'OCS' Ragira who was shot dead on Thursday by goons suspected to be from Mungiki group at Club 36 market in Nairobi.
The leaders led by Steve Arika said Ragira's death came untimely.
"As residents of Ibeno where the deceased hailed from we are in a rude shock from the death of Ragira who died in the hands of goons. His future was ended prematurely by goons who we are demanding their immediate arrest," he said.
Mr Arika appealed to Interior Cs Fred Matiang'i to intervene so that Ragira's killers can be arrested.
ANC Thomas Nyangaresi described Ragira as a hard working individual whose future was bright.
"We have lost the future 'Obama'. All we want is to have the killers brought to book and justice be served to the family," he said.
Isaac Motari a Jubilee politician vowed to lead demonstrations to push relevant authorities to arrest the killers.
"Police should speed probe following brutal killing of Ragira. I am going to lead youths to go to the streets to protest the death of our fellow youth. The government should come clean on his death or else business will not be as usual," he stated.
