In his official Facebook page, Murathe shared photos of two groups of people in yellow t-shirts perceived to be Ruto's supporters. One of the photos shows National Assembly Majority Leader and Garissa Township MP Aden Duale with six others donned in yellow t-shirts.Another picture shows residents donned in yellow t-shirts with a photo of DP Ruto engraved in them holding placards.Murathe wondered why they had started dressing in such a manner. He questioned their motive of making such a move and doubted whether they still wanted to remain in Jubilee, arguing that they were free to exit.

"They've started wearing yellow T-shirts. What message are they sending? Are they exiting Jubilee Party? The door is wide open, quit asap!" charged Murathe.

The former Gatanga MP is a critic of the DP.  He has been fighting him(Ruto) and his lieutenants after he resigned from Jubilee and vowed to make sure he (Ruto) does not vie for the presidency in 2022.

Murathe has accused Ruto of being opposed to the handshake and being corrupt which he alleges do not make him fit to vie for the presidency in 2022.
