Speaking in Ugenya, Siaya county on Monday, the Senator confirmed Ruto's claims and worries that ODM is plotting his ouster from the Jubilee Party and wants to frustrate him going forward.

Orengo said that plans are indeed in place to ensure that the DP is forced out of the party, and he can rest assured that he will find himself outside ultimately.

However, he remained silent on whether the opposition boss Raila Odinga-led party will be joining hands with the remaining faction of the Jubilee Party under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Usifikirie eti tumeingia katika serikali lakini utatoka. Tuingie tusiingie utatoka. Tumeunda na utatoka.

(Be assured that you (Ruto) will leave the party. We have planned it. Whether or not we merge with Jubilee you will have to leave)," he said.

Orengo who is considered a close ally of Odinga added that the truce between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister last year seeks to better the nation.

On the purge on corruption, he urged Uhuru to stand his ground and not be intimidated or shaken by anyone, including his closest allies.

"Uhuru asianze kuregea hata vita vinapogusa mawaziri wake ama Ruto maana hatutaweza kushinda vita dhidi ya ufisadi.

(Let Uhuru remain strong even if the fight touches his deputy or Cabinet Ministers as otherwise, we will lose)," added the firebrand lawmaker.

This is not the first time Orengo is making such remarks and was recently on the spotlight after claiming that a political alliance if in the making between Uhuru and ODM.
