Sportpesa CEO Ronald Karauri has in the recent past made headlines with a lavish lifestyle, and that was once again on show over the weekend during a birthday party celebration.
Karauri, a former pilot with KQ, held a lavish birthday party, with the theme being all about gambling.
the guests at the event had a night to remember, as sparkling champagne was served through the celebration. The highlight and talk of the event was his cigar, which is said to have cost Sh13,000.
“Big thank you to everyone who made my day special. Welcome the big Four-0 in a big way thanks to friends and family. Forever thankful it was a night to never forget. Super Blessed,” he wrote on his social media.
He also took time to appreciate his wife, whom he said has played a bit part in making everything around him happen.
“Baby uko juu kama kamba ya kujinyonga. Thanks my queen for making my day special. Thank you, Captain Ruth,” he added.
Karauri owns 6% share capital at the country's biggest betting firm, which is said to rake in millions of shillings every day.
