There are only two industries where Kenyan youth can invest their energies and earn millions of shillings within a short time.
According to Mezani Group Chief Executive Officer Danny Mugarura, the two industries will in the near future offer huge employment opportunities to the millions of unemployment youth and the two sectors offer an opportunity for the government to offload the burden of creating jobs to millions of Kenyans.
He said the two are the entertainment and the sales industries.
"African is now the new frontier. Thousands of people from Europe, America and Asia are flying here everyday and you ask why? This is the new business frontier," he said at a youth forum held in Lavington Nairobi on Monday.
He said the entertainment or arts industry is still virgin in the African continent and in particular Kenya adding that the sector is talent-based as it only requires one to exploit their talents to the fullest to rake-in millions of shillings to their bank accounts.
The sales industry, he said, has the capacity to employ millions of youth to market the various new products that industries produce everyday.
"Some of the world's richest men and women are sales people," he said.
"Sales is the only industry where you decide what you want to earn. You work hard, you earn more, you work less you earn less."
