Renowned musician Bebe Cool Saturday fired salvos at his longtime adversary Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi better known by his stage moniker Bobi Wine.
Addressing the media after being booed off stage by fans after a Tarrus Riley reggae concert, Cool contended that Wine was not as injured as was being reported in media outlets, vowing to die supporting President Museveni.
"I might have issues with the NRM because, of course, the country is not run by one person but I would die for a good cause and my cause is President Museveni, the individual. Media you had your cameras watching this young man getting into the car after court. He held the car and raised the other arm with a crutch," he fired.
The musician attracted the ire of opposition supporters after he taunted Bobi Wine on social media after the musician-turned-politician was arrested.
Differences between the two heavyweight musicians have always coloured their work.
Bebe Cool was among musicians who supported Museveni's presidential bid for a fourth term.
He accused Wine's supporters of intolerance and sending the right message to the wrong person.
