The leaders who were visiting Nandi County over the weekend assured supporters that the party is still intact.

According to Tharaka-Nithi Senator Kindiki Kithure National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga should be blamed for any rift within Jubilee.

Kindiki was accompanied with his Kericho counterpart Aaron Cheruiyot, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, Kisii Woman Representative Janet Ong’era, Njoro legislator Charity Kataubi, Agriculture Chief Administrative Secretary Andrew Tuimur, Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuda. Kericho’s Aaron Cheruyoit further downplayed any rift in the party.

“A political unity is like a marital home; there will be minor wrangles, but they will not stand in the way of Ruto’s ambitions,” said Cheruyoit.

Leaders allied to the Deputy President have claimed that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga was responsible for any rifts within Jubilee.
