Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has warned teachers against sleeping with young girls.
Mose, speaking on Thursday when he issued CDF cheques to various schools in the constituency for development projects, said teachers especially male should respect the girl child.
“It is shameful that some male teachers have turned against young girls, luring them into sex with cheap money. I will not condone such teachers in my area of administration.
"Teachers should respect the girl child and ensure they don’t sleep with them to impregnate and infect them with diseases,” he said.
The Jubilee MP said local chiefs and police officers should be on high alert arrest men who will be caught having sex with school girls.
He challenged female teachers to advice young girls accordingly.
“Female teachers must be at the forefront advising girls on the need to shun love relationships with men for the sake of ensuring girls remain in school throughout and complete education,” he noted.
Mose urged parents not to accept cheap gifts and money from men so that they can allow girls have sex with men in the region.
