One of Collymore's latest friends to narrate his encounter with Guyanese-born Briton is former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Peter Kenneth.

Apparently, Collymore had a group of five friends with whom he would spend time with. The friends included Jeff Koinange, Lamin Majang, Bharat Thakrar, Joshua Oigara and Keneth.

According to Kenneth, he was the last person to be recruited into the group of friends who referred to themselves as ‘The boys’.

“I think we all met Bob in different circumstances and he brought us together. And if you remember there were nicknames for each one of us as we joined. I think I was the last one to join, so I got called the intern,”  Kenneth revealed during an interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV’s JKL

Kenneth was nicknamed ‘The intern’ after joining ‘the boys’ whose leader was the late Collymore.

The former politician who is also a businessman went ahead to disclose that Collymore had an infectious manner of making friends.

Collymore died on Monday at the age of 61 and his body was cremated on Tuesday.
