Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga is leading at least 20 MPs in Russia ahead of Sunday's World Cup finals in Moscow's Luzhniki stadium.
During semi-final match between Croatia and England, a passionate Omanga, who has shown interest in Nyamira politics, posted her photo with Croatia supporters which would eventually win.
"In Moscow with Croatia fans ahead of clash with England. I wish this team all the best," wrote Ms. Omanga.
But local media reports that at least 14 members of National Assembly and 6 senators may have traveled in two batches early July at the expense of Kenyan government.
But Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Achesa insists that officials from the ministry have nopt traveled to Russia adding that the ministry had only recommended six in sports committee.
"We were invited but opted out. It is too expense. We recommended only six but many more may have traveled out of their private initiatives," he stated.
Among those who traveled between July 2 and 5th include Victor Munyaka, Wafula Wamunyinyi, Sylvanus Martim and Peter Kaluma.
Besides senator Omanga, a passionate supporter of Croatia now, others include Johnson Sakaja, Cleophas Malala, Aaron Cheruiyot and Judy Pareno.
The former Yugoslavia nation will take on France, the 1998 champions who qualified after between favourites Belgium on Tuesday at Saint Petersberg.
