Controversial economist David Ndii has claimed that cartels siphoning public coffers are stationed at State House.
In a tweet, Ndii said fighting corruption in the country has become difficult because ‘cartels are head quartered at State House’.
“You cannot bust cartels if they are headquartered at State House. The robber barons were not the government. What we need to do is drive cartels out of government,” Ndii said.
He was responding to a tweeter user, @Hilux254, who had asked him on how Kenyans can deal with the corruption in the country.
“Hey Doc, Why can’t Kenya break this trusts and monopolies as America did to the Rockefellers and carnegies? What do we lack, lawyers? Proper law structures? What?” @Hilux254 said.
Several scandals have hit the country where billions of money are lost.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has been lamenting on Kenyans to help him fight corruption in the country.
Directorate of criminal investigations George Kinoti said he is determined to fight corrupt figures and there will be no sacred cows.
