Koilel Farm Limited, Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny claimed, is owned by the DP and is said to have received over Sh20 million in the dubious payment.

"Koilel Farm, just Google it. Look at the pictures, it's owned by the DP and he can't deny it. It's one of company used by cartels to siphon money from NCPB," he said on Tuesday during Sidebar programme.

The DP is under pressure from maize farmers and a rebellion has been waged by MPs, among them Kutuny, Silas Tiren and Alfred Keter, in which they accuse him of sabotaging maize farming.

In the interview, Kutuny, the second term legislator, challenges the DP to come out and deny ownership of the controversial company.

"We are aware of five other companies used as conduits in the business. Let the DP come out and deny the company. He knows and that's why he can't speak."

Earlier, in Cherangany WhatsApp group, Kutuny claimed that Koilel Farm Limited is behind Ruto's alleged 500, 000 Ha of maize in Congo, which he intends to import to the country for consumption.

President Uhuru Kenyatta whipped agriculture minister Mwangi Kiunjuri to pay maize farmers, warning that those behind the scandal will be dealt with.

"Nobody can supply maize worth Sh200 million. That's a lie. The minister should act in speed and deal with these cartels," he said.
