I don’t know about you but I would love to be happy all the time. There are a few things that you need to let go if you want to be happy. Here are some habits that you have that are stealing your joy.
1. Thinking that there are perfect moments
Perfect moments do not exist as we only learn to live with imperfections. People wait for the perfect moment to get married, get a child, get that perfect body but these moments don’t exist. If you want to do something just do it and work hard at it. Things will just fall into place. If you wait for the perfect moment to do something you will always get disappointed.
2. Dwelling on worries and fears
Fears and worries are a major hindrance to achieving success. Do not let opportunities pass because of the fear of failure. Work on your worries moving forward. Let go of some of the things that you hold on to that lag you behind. Change your mindset and stop focussing on wanting to always be right, the need to control others or always wanting things to go your way.
3. Holding on to hateful feelings
Don't allow hatred to dominate you even when you no longer remember why you hate the people you say you hate. Sometimes we start hating people for no reason at all and eventually we also hate ourselves. When we hate people we carry them in our hearts and heads always and this becomes a burden to us .Don’t burden yourself with hate, learn to forgive and move on.
4. Dwelling on failures
When you experience setbacks in life, do not let them get into your head. It might not have worked for you today but tomorrow it will. Do not hold on to the fact that you did not succeed today as we don’t know what tomorrow holds. Learn to wake up dust yourself and move on.
