Raila said despite heated political debates and at times insults, he doesn't degenerate to hate.

“I have been in politics for years and a good friend to everyone in this country.

"Those claiming that I am an enemy to Kenyans are lying and should be ignored since they don’t know the real Raila Odinga,” he noted.

He said he is a father of democracy who believes in truth.

Raila said politicians who are not happy with him being an opposition leader should stop stressing themselves for nothing and focus on how they will become good leaders in future.

“Some people who never feel happy me being an opposition leader should consider lying down strategies on how they should become good leaders in this country instead of insulting me each and every time they hold press conferences,” he stated.

He reiterated that it is because of the historic handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta the country is at peace.

The ODM party leader called on leaders to work closely for the purpose of delivering quality services to Kenyans.

He warned leaders against divisive politics saying such leaders should not be elected to serve in any office.

Raila was speaking on Saturday at Gusii Stadium.
