Anti-terror police officers on Wednesday stormed the NTSA head offices in Upper Hill Nairobi following in a vigilant crackdown over the DusitD2 hotel terror attack that happened at 14 Riverside Drive, Nairobi.
The anti-terror police officers raided the offices following a duplicate registration number that was used by the terrorists when they attacked the hotel and office complex.
A vehicle used by the attackers, KCN 340E Toyota Ractis, has been a concern after another vehicle with similar registration details was found in Nairobi.
The vehicle with the legitimate registration details was found to be owned by a lady who lives in Kitengela.
Her identity has not been disclosed to the public due to security concerns.
The Wednesday afternoon raid is believed to be part of the efforts by the police to establish how the terrorists registered their car with NTSA.
The attack left 21 people dead and several others nursing bullet wounds in various hospitals in Nairobi.
