A journalist formerly attached to Radio Citizen has revealed Deputy President William Ruto's possible kitchen cabinet if he wins the 2022 presidential elections.
David Harison Oluoch, who is currently a freelance journalist, in social media post claimed that the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen would be the next Attorney General in Ruto's government.
Similarly, Oscar Sudi, the Kapseret Member of Parliament, would be the Interior Cabinet secretary while Senators Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho) and Samson Cherargei (Nandi) would be Finance and Lands Cabinet Secretaries respectively.
"Imagine William Ruto as President of Kenya, Kipchumba Murkomen as Attorney General, Oscar Sudi as internal security minister, Aaron Cheruiyot as finance minister and Samson Cherargei as minister for land..." reads part of the journalist's tweet.
Even as Oluoch 'revealed' the DP's possible cabinet, the post was a mockery given the fact that the journalist is a hard critic of Ruto.
In another social media post, the journalist had claimed that DP Ruto was hatching a plan to eliminate the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti.
"The way DP Ruto and his galaxy of indisciplined Kalenjin MPs are behaving, the no-nonsense DCI Kinoti should start using armoured vehicles accompanied by top maxmen. Dr. Ruto is so uncomfortable with Kinoti that he can arrange to kill the top crime burster (sic)," he claimed.
