President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be gracing the 2019 Devolution conference at Governor Anne Waiguru's Kirinyaga county that will take place between March 4th to 8th 2019.
This comes a few days after the duo, together with other leaders visited Kisii County on Wednesday 20th on an official tour to launch various projects.
The theme of this year's devolution conference is "Deliver, Transform, Measure, Remaining Accountable," and will take place at Kirinyaga University, Kirinyaga County.
Through a statement on Twitter, the council of governors announced that President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will grace the event on 5th, 6th March 2019 respectively.
"His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta will officially open the 6th Annual Devolution Conference on 5th March 2019 at the Kirinyaga University, Kirinyaga County. #DevCon2019" reads a statement on Twitter.
"The Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga will be the chief guest of at Devolution Conference 2019 on the second day of the conference - 6th March 2019," reads another statement on Twitter by the council of governors.
The two leaders have been working together since the handshake last year, holding that the main aim of them settling their differences and working together is to ensure peace, unity and deliver development to the people of Kenya.
