South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has claimed that he respects Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati because he is his senior in politics.
The youthful lawmaker while speaking during an interview at Egesa FM on Tuesday morning confirmed that he has no plan to undermine him.
Arati is reportedly said to be preparing to run for Kisii governorship in 2022.
"Arati is my senior because he was the first one to enter Parliament. I fully respect him and I have no plans whatsoever to undermine him," stated Osoro.
According to Osoro, he is following Arati's footsteps while serving the residents of South Mugirango.
He vowed to continue consulting him on matters development due to his (Arati's) wide experience in leadership.
"I will not give space to MP Arati when it comes to consultation. I will keep on chasing him to advise me accordingly so that I can deliver to the people of South Mugirango. I prefer consulting Arati because he has managed to serve the people of Dagoretti North where several tribes live," he added.
Further, Osoro revealed that he is committed to ensuring children in the constituency get proper education and security boosted.
The lawmaker vowed to utilize funds in the CDF kitty to realise development in the constituency.
