Moenda said parents should report to education officers any teacher they suspect is not working hard to ensure learners are taught well in class.
"I'm appealing to parents to stop using force to evict teachers. Any parent caught participating in illegal eviction of teachers will be dealt with accordingly," he said.
The chief who was nearly frogmarched by angry parents when he tried to stop them from evicting Mogoga primary headteacher urged parents to stop teaming up to harass government officers.
"Some parents wanted to frogmarch and beat me up because I stopped them from evicting the teacher. I wish to reiterate the importance of members of the public to respect government officers in deep villages," he added.
He, however, sided with parents arguing that teachers must work hard to equip learners well in their studies.
"Lazy teachers will not have room in the region. Teachers should be transferred regularly," said Moenda.
