Over the years, there have been various contests and various beauties have come to win it. 

However, did you know that the Nairobi Woman Rep once contested in the Miss World Kenya?

Well, Esther Passaris once contested in the Miss World Kenya but unfortunately she was not picked.

In 1991, Passaris contested in the Miss World Kenya which was won by Nkirote Karimi M’Mbijjiwe, a daughter of the late Agriculture Cabinet Minister Gilbert Kabeere M’Mbijiwe. 

Esther could only make it among the top three. 

However, this didn’t kill her morale to venture her efforts elsewhere. 

She tried various projects including politics which has finally paid well. 

However, she lost in politics too at some point before winning.
