Walking around Mlolongo town in search of a house to rent could be overwhelming.
Beautiful apartments would be your home within a split of second so long as you can afford.
However, your night in Mlolongo's rented houses would be long and itchy.
This is because many rental houses are full of bedbugs that won't allow you sleep in peace.
Stephanie Mwikali narrates how she was forced to vacate the next morning just a day after moving in due to angry, bloodthirsty bedbugs which feasted on her throughout the night.
"I didn't wait, I packed my belonging not knowing my destination since what was in my mind was getting away from that place. I didn't even contact the agent to reimburse my deposit, I left without a notice," Mwikali said.
Mwikali said despite the apartments looking all cleaned up, you will be forced to spend the night murdering the little uncountable insects which keep on increasing.
Surprisingly during the day, these insects can't be spotted but as darkness falls an army will invade your body mercilessly.
No matter much of fumigation and cleanliness, the small insects will still findway to your house.
They will terrorize you until you give up.
Other places known to be full of bedbugs in rental houses include Kariobangi and Babadogo estates in Nairobi County.
